Project H.O.P.E. House has a long and successful history with the Lakota Sioux Native American Tribe at Crow Creek Reservation in South Dakota. Ray Piagentini, retired Barrington High School Counselor and, recipient of numerous awards and the namesake of the Ray Piagentini High School Counselor of the Year award from ISCA (Illinois School Counselor Association) has long been involved with cross-cultural immersion and community health promotion with both local youth and Crow Creek Reservation youth. Crow Creek is the 2nd poorest Native American Reservation and Ray has been dedicated to working with the Native population for the last 35 years
